We will be serving a 7 Course tasting menu lunch showcasing the ancient White Park breed of Cow. We will also have Sean from Hogget & Boar butchery joining us to chat all about White Park Beef!
This is the only breed of beef we use, dating back to year 856 first found in the UK in Wales. Pure grass fed beef sourced from Stockbridge, Hampshire.

It is said that in 1617 King James 1st drew his sword while eating a loin from said animals, he knighted the cow and called it ‘Sir Loin’
An incredible depth of flavour and often very marbled.
Expect 5 courses in various forms, of the beef. Smoked, braised, tartare as an example. 1 x cheese course and 1 x dessert.
Sean from Hogget and Boar will be here with us to talk all things White Park.
At Hogget and Boar Ltd, all their products are sourced direct from farmers. With a commitment to their green initiative, they seek out high-welfare sustainable products.

We will be serving a 7 Course tasting menu lunch showcasing Veal meat form Westcombe Dairy in Somerset.
Westcombe Dairy are breaking all pre-conceptions of what Veal used to be. They take the male dairy calves and raise them, up to 15 months, rather than being immediately euthanised as is common practise in the dairy industry. They are then putting the meat back into the food chain by making charcuterie as well as selling the cuts they cant use to select restaurants. Us included.
Paul Burton head butcher/charcutier and Tom Calver who does all things cheese at Westcombe Dairy, will be joining us for lunch, to talk about their story, veal and cheese.
Head chef Jesse is very passionate about getting veal back into the food chain, he will talk you through 7 dishes created for a one off menu, including 5 courses of veal in various forms. 1 x cheese course using Westcombe cheese and 1 x dessert.
